I trained as a fine artist at Brighton School of Art, where I was the recipient of the Julian Trevelyan Prize for Printmaking, awarded by Mary Fedden R.A.
After completing my MAFA at Winchester School of Art I relocated to Barcelona, where I went on to live for over 8 years.
I first started working with clay in 2009 when I moved to Los Angeles, California, drawing inspiration from my new environment with its expansive ocean and dramatic vast skies.
I predominantly work in porcelain, favouring the decorative over the functional, with a minimal sophisticated aesthetic being principal to my practice.
At the end of 2021 I relocated back to the UK and currently reside in north Somerset where my work continues to be inspired by my environment. Each piece is intentionally different.
I am a full time studio member and teacher at Clay Shed, Bristol.
